Dr. Kerry Proctor is a registered Psychologist and Family Therapist.

Kerry (her/she) completed her Masters in Family Therapy at the Bouverie Centre/La Trobe University in 1998, and her PhD in 2006. She has worked extensively in schools, community and mental health services, The Bouverie Family Therapy Centre for twenty years, Juvenile Justice (Parkville), and most recently at MacKillop Family Services as Principal Practitioner. (Family Services and OOHC). She has a worked with complex families, sexually diverse families, Indigenous families in Community and young people and their carers in residential and foster care settings.

Kerry has a great deal of experience in working with individual, couples and families dealing with a wide range of difficulties. She has a particular interest in with working with blended families, anxiety and stress management, depression, relationship issues, trauma recovery, pain management and rehabilitation, sexual diversity, personal growth and coping with life transitions. I am Patrycja (Patricia) Toczek, a qualified Social Worker with 11 years experience in the clinical mental health field. I am a professional member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and Australian Association of Family Therapists. I am also approved Accredited Mental Health Social Worker practitioner.

I have extensive clinical practice experience in public mental health working with adults in different clinical settings with a diversity of clients and their families experiencing a variety of complex issues including: impact of mental illness, co-existence of other co-morbidities including: drug & alcohol, disability, psycho-social and broader systemic issues.

The education and clinical practice at the Bouverie Centre further enhanced my clinical skills and professional experience in working with children, adolescents and their parents in the family therapy context with frequent presentations including: depression, anxiety, school evasion, defiance and aggression, drug and alcohol issues, self-harm behaviours, peer pressure.

My employment history also encompasses: working in a private practise (Victoria clinic, Healthscope) as a specialised DBT clinician and a DBT group coordinator working with clients with Borderline Personality Disorder and as a counsellor for an Employment Assistance Program working with individuals, couples and families. 

In my work I utilise a range of therapeutic approaches and intervention strategies applicable in the family therapy setting. More recently Fiona has been working as a Principal Practitioner in the Out of Home Care sector.

Incredibly sadly, Nockie died of cancer in September, 2021.

We would like to leave her original entry on our website to acknowledge her remarkable qualities as a therapist and her wonderful therapeutic work. She was kind, gentle, generous, wise, loving and smart. She was an extraordinary person and we were all blessed to know her. Rest in Peace beautiful Nockie.

Nockie’s counselling approach was gentle and holistic. She worked with families, couples, adolescents and individuals who seeked therapy to nurture their resilience and strengthen their inner resources in order to respond to life’s ebb and flow.

Nockie’s Family therapy work included integrating various therapeutic frameworks and paradigms which are philosophical, existential, systemic, trauma informed and evidence based.

Megan Williams

Dr Annabel Pollard

Dr Annabel Pollard is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She is a member of the Australian Clinical Psychology Association; and Associate Member of the Eye Movement Desensitisation Association of Australia (EMDRA).

Talking therapies can be helpful in exploring understanding and addressing life challenges. Robert has been a counsellor for twenty years and these days he specialises in working with couples, parents and families. As much as he enjoys joining with you in a collaborative change endeavour – and he really does enjoy it – his goal is to make himself redundant as quickly as possible. To this end he tries to keep up with the leading edge of clinical best practice, which means advances in neuroscience, trauma treatments, and the connection between psychological distress and the body.

In addition to standard 50-minute appointments Robert also offers 80 minute appointments. Yet another option is a 110-minute single-session consultation, which doesn’t assume any regular ongoing treatment and includes pre-session information gathering as well as post-session follow up by telephone.
